Traveling to inner Freedom
What is true freedom of body and mind?
Asana is just one of the 8 limbs of Patanjalis Sutras. We often forget the other limbs that start with restraints ( Yamas) and observance (Niyamas) as well as withdrawing from outer impulses and resting within ones self (Pratyahara). There’s a reason why pranayama is set after asana and in this 2 1/2 hour session, we’ll travel from Asana to Pranayama to Pratyahara.
This is the first part of an ongoing exploration and journey of body, mind, movement, breath and stillness.
