As the holiday season approaches, many of us feel the pressure and pace beginning to rise. Slow Flow is a gentle, restorative 90Min. Yoga class, designed to help you soften, rebalance, and return to yourself. Guided by the insightful Olive, this practice invites deep release through calming restorative asanas, a soothing slow flow sequence, and a deeply restful Yoga Nidra to end the evening. Suitable for all levels, including complete beginners.

SOUL FLOW - Release, Relax, and let go

Arrival, Settling & Gentle Grounding

  • Soft landing with breath awareness

  • Short centering meditation

  • Introduction to the theme: slowing down to regulate the nervous system

A gentle, fluid movement sequence to relieve accumulated tension:

  • Cat–Cow variations

  • Slow shoulder and hip openers

  • Soft sun-salutation-inspired mobility, modified for all levels

  • Breath-led movement to transition into stillness

Deeply supported poses held for extended, calming periods.

“Turning Inward: A Year’s End Yoga + Meditation Series”

Overview

These sessions invite students into a gentle, reflective space during the quiet days between Christmas and the New Year. We’ll blend slow mindful movement, breathwork, guided meditation, and reflective journaling to cultivate gratitude, connect with the higher self, and release what no longer serves.

Session 1 — Gratitude & Grounding/ December 27th 9 - 10 AM

Soft Flow • Breathwork • Journaling
Theme: Honoring what the year has given

  • Opening grounding meditation

  • Gentle embodied gratitude flow

  • Heart-opening postures + breath to expand appreciation

  • Guided gratitude journaling

  • Closing affirmation + short stillness
    Intention: Arrive in presence, recognize blessings, and root into a sense of enoughness.

Session 2 — Channelling Your Higher Self/December 29th 9 - 10 AM

Slow Flow • Visualization Meditation • Intention Setting
Theme: Hearing your truest inner guidance

  • Centering breathwork

  • Slow, spacious movement to clear energetic pathways

  • Guided meditation to meet/experience your higher self

  • Journaling prompts: What do I most desire to embody?

  • Sealing practice with mantra or mudra
    Intention: Deepen intuition, clarity, and inner knowing.

Session 3 — Stillness, Forgiveness & Letting Go/ December 30th 9 - 10 AM

Yin/Restorative • Breath Release • Inner Softening
Theme: Releasing emotional residue + softening the heart

  • Gentle unwinding stretches

  • Yin/restorative holds for deep emotional release

  • Guided forgiveness practice (self + others)

  • Breathwork for letting go (sighing breath, long exhales)

  • Stillness meditation
    Intention: Lighten the emotional load and enter the new year with spaciousness.

Optional Session 4 — New Year Integration Ritual/ December 31st 9 - 10 AM

Meditation • Intention Ritual • Soft Flow
Theme: Carrying clarity into the year ahead

  • Opening stillness + breath

  • Mini-flow to awaken inspiration

  • Writing ritual: intentions, words-of-the-year, values

  • Closing group meditation + collective affirmation
    Intention: Integrate everything from the week and step forward with purpose.
