Workshop Objectives:
By the end of this workshop, participants will:
Recognize red flags and injury-prone patterns in moving between poses.
Learn creative, intelligent ways to link asanas safely and playfully.
Gain tools to enhance proprioception and breath awareness during transitions.
Leave with ready-to-teach mini-sequences and transition drills.
Structure of the Workshop:
1. Opening & Grounding
2. Lecture + Movement Lab 1: Anatomy of Transition
Topic: "What Makes a Transition Risky?"
Common injury zones: knees, wrists, low back, sacrum, hips, shoulders
Asana exit vs. Asana entry – how different they are biomechanically
Movement principles: stability before mobility, load transfer, joint tracking
Practice Lab:
