In our yoga community in Zurich, growth feels natural and support is real. This is where authentic yoga becomes a shared journey.
Olive Ssembuse
With more than 20 years of teaching experience and a personal yoga practice spanning 30 years, Olive brings a depth of knowledge rooted in movement, discipline and compassion. She is the founder of Yogalives and leads both the 200 hour and 300 hour Yoga Teacher Trainings in Zurich.
Born and raised in Bern, she moved to New York City at 19 to pursue her dream of becoming a professional dancer. There she performed with contemporary dance companies and shared the stage with artists such as Tina Turner and Ricky Martin — appearing at the MTV Music Awards, the Lena Horne Tribute and on various TV productions.
Her discovery of yoga during her dance career quickly grew into a lifelong passion. She completed her 200 hour YogaWorks training with Annie Carpenter in 2006 and deepened her studies with a 300 hour training in 2011.
In 2008 she opened «Yogalives – enjoy the flow», creating a space where strength, clarity and presence come together. Her teaching blends physical precision with mindful awareness, guiding students toward grounding, balance and inner steadiness.

Susen Veronica
Joy, curiosity, life changing workshops, creative events and a voice that feels like velvet — these qualities define Susen. She began her path with meditation and yoga at the age of five and has since completed more than 3000 hours of yoga teacher trainings, deepening her knowledge through countless practices, teachings and experiences.
Her passion for yoga and meditation shines in every class. Susen designs each session from the ground up, choosing elements that match the theme of the day from her extensive knowledge of yoga styles, meditation traditions and coaching techniques.
She weaves these elements into sequences that feel thoughtful, grounding and surprisingly deep — classes that challenge advanced practitioners while welcoming anyone seeking clarity, inspiration and inner expansion.
Susen has been teaching for more than ten years in Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Mexico and India — in studios, at festivals and in special workshops. At Yogalives she teaches Jivamukti Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and offers workshops ranging from Laughter Yoga to Better Sleep.

Dijana Resler
Dijana first discovered Dharma Yoga in 2013, and it was love at first sight. As she wanted to learn more about philosophy and improve her practice so she finished her 200-hour teacher training in 2017. After that, she began teaching at a local studio. While teaching classes, she felt enormous joy and discovered how amazing it is to help other people on the same path.
In 2019, she traveled to New York City to study directly under Sri Dharma Mittra, completing the 500-hour teacher training — a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Being in the presence of one of still living yogis was priceless and profoundly transformed her teaching approach. Soon after, she moved to the US, continuing to teach and share the transformative practice of Dharma Yoga. In 2024, she and her family relocated to Zurich, where she is excited and deeply committed to spreading this beautiful style of yoga to a new community. Her approach to yoga remains focused on the balance between strength and flexibility, focus and playfulness. Dharma Yoga is a perfect blend of vinyasa and hatha yoga, with some interesting inversion variations. You can expect to breathe, move, play, and still have a beautiful, present practice.

Yoga lives in practicing
what you believe
Our beliefs
Yoga creates a space to get to know yourself. Through steady Asana practice, the body becomes strong and prepared for Pranayama — the breathwork that releases stress, calms the nervous system and supports a more balanced way of living.
Many students come to Yogalives with the wish to grow on and off the mat. With Tapas (discipline), guidance and trust, this path unfolds naturally.
After Asana and Pranayama, the journey continues toward Pratyahara — withdrawing the senses to cultivate clarity and equanimity. Yoga keeps us anchored in the here and now.
We welcome students of all ages and backgrounds. Everyone is met with the same respect and appreciation. At Yogalives you will find a space that feels safe, supportive and open — a place where your inner experience matters.
Yoga lives in how
we show up
Code of ethics
Yoga creates space to understand yourself more clearly. Through consistent practice, the body grows strong and steady. The breath becomes a tool to regulate the nervous system, release tension and restore balance.
At Yogalives, practice is not performance. It is a process of growth that extends beyond the mat. With discipline, thoughtful guidance and mutual trust, development happens in a grounded and sustainable way.
As attention turns inward, clarity and resilience begin to deepen. Yoga keeps us present, aware and connected to what truly matters.
We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds. Every student is met with respect, professionalism and care. Yogalives is a space that feels safe and supportive, where your experience is valued and your growth is supported with integrity.
